Maria Tecce has been coaching executives, entrepeneurs, and voice professionals to excellence for almost a decade.
My experience as a professional actor, singer, and writer launched me on the road to coaching over 10 years ago. I toured with my one-woman shows and performed at some of the world's most prestigious venues and opera houses for 20 years before adapting my skills to coach professionals in the corporate market. I work with top international companies such as Google, Diageo, Novartis, KPMG, Deloitte, Websummit, Stryker, Ericsson, LinkedIn, and higher learning institutions in Ireland such as Trinity College, UCD, Smurfit Business School, The Lir Academy, Gaiety School of Acting, and coach one-to-one for C-Level executives, entrepreneurs, and politicians. I provide training to anyone who finds themselves speaking or presenting in front of an audience. So whether you're addressing key share holders, presenting at a conference, or giving the best man speech at a wedding, you've come to the right place.
My goal is to help you communicate with impact, bring life and colour into your presentations, and discover the compelling connection between voice, words, body, and people. Whether it's presenting to your boss or to an audience of 1,000, there are skills and techniques that you can learn to be a more effective, memorable, and confident speaker that will get you the results you want.
I have over a decade of experience with the media and offer a special module to executives and public personalities in media interview techniques, microphone techniques, and best practices when appearing on radio, television, and presenting on stage.
I am a regular contributor on Irish radio and television with John Murray, Miriam O'Callaghan, Pat Kenny, Ryan Tubridy, Ireland AM, to the Irish Times, Sunday Business Post, Hotpress Magazine, The Independent, and have presented my own radio program on RTE Radio1. I am also a writer and performer with legendary Irish comedy trio The Nualas and work for Irish writer Roddy Doyle's organization Fighting Words as a facilitator and storyteller.
As actor, singer, and composer, I have worked with artists as diverse as Jim Sheridan, Ken Loach, Angela Lansbury, Patsy Kensit, Mia Farrow, Martin Shaw, Keith Carradine, and as a performer and presenter for The Gate Theatre, RTE Concert Orchestra, BBC, RTE, Shakespeare & Company in Boston, and Lincoln Center in New York. I have produced three music albums, two DVDs, and three international tours, performing my one-woman shows at festivals and venues in the USA, the UK, Ireland, and across Europe.
Voice coaches have been working in the acting and singing professions for centuries, but I now use those same techniques found in the world of theatre and performing to breathe life back into business communications and presentations.
